Town have named a strong squad for tonight's pre-season friendly at Leiston (KO 7.45pm). Sylvain Legwinski, Fabian Wilnis, Jaime Peters, Danny Haynes, Billy Clarke, Sito, Matt Richards and George O'Callaghan will all be in action against the Ridgeons League side.

The rest of the squad is made up of youngsters with Jordan Rhodes likely to play some part up front, while Andy Plummer will start in goal.

Academy first-year scholars Paul Murphy and Lewis Ward are also included in the travelling party. Murphy is a Republic of Ireland U16 international who plays either up front or wide in midfield. Ward is a goalkeeper who was with the Town youth set-up as a schoolboy before moving on to Arsenal, returning to Playford Road over the summer.

Leiston, managed by former Blue Jason Dozzell, include former Town academy players Blair Hammond and Liam Manning in their squad as well as one-time first teamer Gerard Nash, who is now a coach with the Blues youngsters.

Squad: Clarke, Haynes, Legwinski, Murphy, O'Callaghan, Peters, Plummer, Rhodes, Richards, Roberts, Sito, Smith, Synnott, Trotter, Upson, Ward, Wilnis.
