Town fans can catch academy central defender Tommy Smith in action with the England U17 side on Tuesday morning. The FIFA U17 World Cup game with New Zealand in Seogwipo, South Korea is being shown live by Eurosport UK from 9am.

Smith is a likely starter against the country where he grew up and for whom he turned down the chance to play international football.

England drew their opening group match 1-1 with North Korea on Saturday morning.

Meanwhile, keeper Neil Alexander has joined up with the full Scotland squad ahead of their friendly with South Africa at Aberdeen on Wednesday. Alexander is unlikely to add to his three caps with Alex McLeish expected to give Sunderland's Craig Gordon the number one jersey.

Striker Billy Clarke is with the Republic of Ireland squad for a friendly in Germany on Tuesday, while defender Chris Casement is with the Northern Irish U21s for a game with Finland at Ballymena, also on Tuesday.

Clarke has previously won two U21 caps, while Casement has four.
