Town have completed the signing of Plymouth midfielder David Norris and the 26-year-old will be paraded in front of the press at 6pm this evening.

A fee of £2 million is undestood to have been agreed between the clubs with around £750,000 being passed on to Bolton Wanderers, Norris's former club.

The Trotters were due 50% of the fee under an agreement made in 2002 when he signed for the Pilgrims, but the Premier League side have accepted a smaller share of the cash after negotiations with Town and Plymouth.

As reported earlier, Norris underwent a medical this morning and personal terms have been agreed.

Jim Magilton has been chasing Norris since the summer and the midfielder is likely to go stright into the side playing at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
