Redknapp: Move is Up to Nugent Thursday, 21st Feb 2008 16:16 Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp says it's up to striker David Nugent whether he joins Town on loan. The 22-year-old has hardly featured since moving to Pompey from Preston in the summer and Redknapp says playing games with the Blues would benefit the England striker. Town manager Jim Magilton made a loan enquiry regarding Nugent earlier in the week and Redknapp says a move is very much up to the player: “At the end of the day it's Dave's decision. No one's pushing him out, it's up to him.” The Pompey boss says the groin injury Nugent sustained subsequent to recovering from his recent hernia surgery is not a serious problem and that he should be back in training on Monday or Tuesday of next week.
