Healy to Sign in the Summer?
Healy to Sign in the Summer?

David Healy will be released by Fulham in the summer and will sign for Town, according to national newspaper reports this morning. Healy was linked with a loan move to the Blues prior to yesterday's deadline but Cottagers boss Roy Hodgson refused to sanction the switch.

Reports emanating from Northern Ireland's game with Georgia on Wednesday said Healy was close to joining Town and, if the latest claims are correct, it appears the expected move is on a permanent basis in the summer and not a loan now.

Healy, rated very highly by boss Jim Magilton, has failed to replicate his international form at club level and has scored just four goals in 15 starts and 14 sub appearances since moving to Craven Cottage last summer.
