De Vos: Time for Video Technology
De Vos: Time for Video Technology

Town skipper Jason De Vos has called for the introduction of video technology after the Blues were denied what would have been a winning goal against QPR at the weekend. Velice Sumulikoski's late effort was handled away from behind the line by Rangers defender Matthew Connolly.

De Vos said: "We had no luck in terms of decisions. We should have had a penalty in the first half [when Alan Lee was pushed by Michael Mancienne] and we scored a legitimate goal in the second half - the video shows that.

"Unfortunately the referees and their assistants don't have the benefit of replays during the match, so we have to lick our wounds and be happy with the point we have.

"In fairness to the linesman he said he could not see it because there were bodies in the way and that is fair enough. If you can't see it you can't give it, but the video shows it was a goal and we feel very hard done by.”
