Town's 1978 side will be back in town on Monday to commemorate 30 years since the Blues defeated Arsenal 1-0 at Wembley. The team and manager Sir Bobby Robson will parade around town in an open-top bus, just as they did 30 years ago.

A big screen on the Cornhill will show the game from noon with the parade beginning at Portman Road at 5pm.

After a tour which will take in Civic Drive, St Matthew's Street, Crown Street, St Margaret's Street, Woodbridge Road, Grimwade Street, Fore Street, College Street, Franciscan Way and Princes Street the squad will arrive on the Cornhill at 5.50pm.

The team and Sir Bobby Robson will then be interviewed on the Town Hall balcony where Robson will be given the freedom of Ipswich, before the manager and his side attend a dinner and reception.

Earlier in the day, Robson will attend a ceremony at Portman Road where the Galleria will be renamed the Sir Bobby Robson Suite in his honour.

Suffolk County Council are providing park and ride services for free from the London Road, Martlesham and Bury Road terminals from 11am to 8pm.
