Miller Set for Old Shirt
Miller Set for Old Shirt

TWTD has been given some hints on Town's 2008/09 squad numbers. Midfielder Tommy Miller is set to regain his old number eight shirt, while January signing David Norris will be the Blues' new number 10.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, David Wright takes Fabian Wilnis's old number two shirt in addition to his position at right-back, while new signing Gareth McAuley inherits the number four from Jason De Vos. Whether the ex-Leicester man also gets the Canadian's captain's armband remains to be seen.

New Dutch signing Pim Balkestein gets Sito's old number 15, while young midfielder Jai Reason has been handed 39, but other than the numbers are largely as per last season. Town are likely to make the official announcement within the next couple of weeks.

The Town squad is off to Loughborough University for five days from today as their pre-season programme continues.
