Naked Sports Show Hot Rod Special
Naked Sports Show Hot Rod Special
Wednesday, 2nd Jul 2008 10:01

On this week's Naked Sports Show Phil P and the Vulture are joined by Nick Knowles – no, not that one, but the commentator for Spedeworth at Foxhall Stadium – and Terry Newell, the music-man from Foxhall Stadium and Portman Road, as the guys preview the National Hot Rod Championship of the World and Spede-Weekend at Foxhall Stadium (5th and 6th July).

Will Great Blakenham's Carl Boardley land the big one for the third year in a row or will the crown leave Suffolk and possibly go over the Irish Sea?

Also, the guys will discuss the week's other sport, including the conclusion of Euro 2008, Andy Murray's Monday night heroics at Wimbledon, the summer transfer market and we also get to see if the Vulture can finally resist tipping a favourite in the Vulture's Venture vs the Toddler's Tip. Feel free to email the show with your opinion on these subjects or any sporting issue at nakedsportsshow@icrfm.co.uk.

The Naked Football Show is taking a break for the summer, but Phil and Graham will be presenting ICR's Monday breakfast programme instead. Contributions on all things football, sport or anything else most welcome, especially requests for music, no matter how diverse. More details here.

ICR can be heard in the immediate Ipswich area on 105.7FM and has an eclectic array of programmes, which include almost any style of music you can think of promoting local bands and musicians, as well as morning and magazine shows, in addition to foreign language programmes in Polish, Portuguese, Cantonese, Farsi and Hindi.

If you're not in the Ipswich area, the show can be heard live online at http://www.icrfm.co.uk, while the programme will be available as a podcast via TWTD tomorrow. Last week's show is available as an MP3 here or via iTunes.
