The Blues have confirmed that they have accepted an offer from Huddersfield Town for midfielder Gary Roberts. TWTD reported earlier today that the former Accrington man, who missed this morning's open training session, was close to a move to the Terriers.

Boss Jim Magilton told the club site: "We have had an offer from Huddersfield for Gary that we have accepted.

"The player is now clear to speak to them and we will see what develops after that."

Roberts has made 45 starts and 14 sub appearances for the Blues, scoring four goals having signed from Accrington initially on loan in October 2006, making the move permanent in the following January.

Last season the 24-year-old's form dropped off and he was sent on loan to Crewe and was one of five players to be made available for transfer earlier in the summer.
