Huddersfield boss Stan Ternent says he hopes to talk to Town's Gary Roberts regarding his proposed move to the Terriers over the weekend. At lunchtime, TWTD was first to reveal that the winger was close to completing his move to the Galpharm Stadium.

Ternent said: "I have made an approach for Roberts and I am hoping to make him a Huddersfield Town player as soon as possible.

"We have agreed a fee, but that's as far as it's gone until I speak to his agent and the player, which I hope to do this weekend, but it could be Monday before I get that chance with us being in Hartlepool this weekend."

The fee for the 24-year-old is understood to be around the £100,000 mark, although is officially undisclosed. Roberts has two years left on his Blues contract.

Elsewhere, former Town midfielder Martin Reuser, now 33, has completed his move from RKC Waalwijk to NAC Breda.
