Honduran trialist Emilio Izaguirre has not yet received an actual contract offer from the Blues, but has done enough to have his trial extended. Reports in Honduras over the weekend claimed that Town had offered the 22-year-old a deal after his two-week trial.

Boss Jim Magilton says he wants to see the left-sided full-back or midfielder in action: "Izaguirre did well in the two weeks but we want to see him play in a match.”

Town plan to watch the Motagua man, nicknamed El Milo, in a behind-closed-doors friendly. Izaguirre has been unable to play in any of Town's pre-season games due to red tape.
