Town midfielder David Norris says he is already feeling emotional about his first game at Plymouth since leaving the Pilgrims for Town in January. Town and Norris, who spent more than five years at Home Park, take on Paul Sturrock's side on Saturday.

Norris said: "Yes, ahead of the trip back to Plymouth I'm already experiencing a whole range of emotions.

"It's quite daunting and at the same time also really weird thinking about going to a place that was home for me for so long.

"Although I'd been with Bolton permanently and had loan spells at a couple of other clubs before joining Plymouth, I think of myself as a one-club player before joining Ipswich.

"And that club was obviously Plymouth. I have great memories of playing for Argyle and like to think I had a great rapport with the fans.

"The Green Army were great to me in what was about five-and-a-half years at Plymouth and I really appreciated their support.”

Meanwhile, Argyle are likely to be without defender Mat Doumbe on Saturday. The Frenchman injured a foot during the Pilgrims' 1-0 victory over Preston North End on Tuesday, despite an x-ray showing no broken bones.
