Striker Kevin Lisbie is set to return to training on Friday after the back injury which kept him out of the squad which beat Nottingham Forest 2-1 at Portman Road on Wednesday. However, Town have a concern regarding Gareth McAuley, who has a calf problem.

Physio Matt Byard told the club site: "Kevin has done some light work today and will train fully on Friday and should be fine for the QPR game.

"Gareth is a concern for us in that he picked up a calf injury towards the end of the Forest game. He took a knock when he made the tackle that prevented them equalising.

"It was very sore after the game but it's improved overnight and we will see how he is on Friday. It will be a late call on him I would think."

The Blues are definitely without Danny Haynes due to his hamstring problem.
