Bermudian midfielder Reggie Lambe saw red as the Blues U18s lost 3-0 at home to Chelsea on Saturday morning. Lambe kicked out at an opponent after being fouled 20 minutes from the end and was given his marching orders.
Town included 17-year-old trialist Thomas McCready, a midfielder previously with Everton, in their starting line-up, while Emmanuel Richardson, the trialist who played in this week's reserve game against Stevenage Borough, was amongst the substitutes. The Blues U16s lost 1-0 to the same opponents.
U18s: Ward, Clemo, Eastman, Ainsley, Dunbar, Hyam, Griffiths, McCready, Lambe, Wickham, Murray. Subs: Brandon, McLoughlin, Richardson, Bennett, Ralph.
