Supple Move Falls Through
Supple Move Falls Through

Shane Supple's move to Grimsby looks to have fallen through with the Mariners announcing the signing of Preston's Wayne Henderson on a one-month loan. Supple was expected to join the League Two side earlier in the week, but the proposed switch was delayed while the Blues searched for another keeper to come in as cover.

Town are likely to look for another loan club for Supple, who is in need of first team games to gain experience. The 21-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, boss Jim Magilton has called for the local press to be more positive in the wake of the EADT's recent call for his departure: "If we are poor, I expect people to say we're poor.

"I don't expect negative speculation. I would like [the local press] to be more supportive. But if we keep winning, the more supportive they'll become."
