They beat Willem II 1-0, then Marco Holster's old club Heracles 5-0 (Darren Bent hat-trick) then Quick 1888 4-0. Next up were Paul Mason's old side Groningen who were despatched 3-0 as were hosts Beuningse Boys. The final saw Town take on FC Zwolle and beat then 6-1 with Dickinson, Bent, Burton, Ambrose, Richards and Westlake all on the scoresheet.

The games were played over 25 minute halves in searing heat. Further silverware went to Darren Bent for top-scoring and Robert Dickinson as Most Valuable Player.
