Healy Linked Again
Healy Linked Again
Tuesday, 29th May 2001 12:52

Celtic's Colin Healy is once again being linked with Town. The Irish midfielder was first mentioned in connection with Town in April. He has made 21 appearances for Celtic this season but did not feature in the Scottish Cup Final at the weekend.

Healy, 5'11", is 21 and was born in Cork, Ireland. He was signed from Ballincolligh in 1999 and can play either wide or in the centre of midfield.

Craig Forrest is being linked with a highly unlikely move back to Portman Road. The former Town keeper may be on his way out of Upton Park if he is not in the new manager's plans.

The Canadian stopper said: "I am happy at West Ham but if I don't figure in the new manager's plans then I may have to move on."

The link with Town claims that he will come in as back-up to Richard Wright and also act as goalkeeping coach. Town already have four goalkeepers and a full-time goalkeeping coach, Malcolm Webster. It seems highly unlikely that we would want either another keeper or another coach.

Titus Bramble will not fly out with the rest of the England U21 squad to a training camp in La Manga on Tuesday due to a family bereavement. It is hoped he will join the squad in time for the match with Greece next Tuesday.
