Priskin Deal Done
Priskin Deal Done
Thursday, 6th Aug 2009 22:34

Town are understood to have completed the signing of Watford striker Tamás Priskin for a fee believed to be £1.7 million plus top-ups. TWTD was first to break the news of he Blues’ interest in the 22-year-old last Thursday.

Earlier this week, Priskin’s agent József Vörösbaranyi confirmed that the Blues had made an offer for the frontman, believed to be in the region of £1.2 million, which the Hertfordshire club turned down. However, Vörösbaranyi indicated that he felt a deal would ultimately be done.

Priskin was at Portman Road for a medical this afternoon and to discuss personal terms, putting pen to paper on a three-year deal with an option for a further season.

Priskin has passed his medical and agreed personal terms to make the switch to Roy Keane's men.

The 22-year-old has inked a three-year deal with the option of a further 12 months at Portman Road.

Don't really know much about Priskin but lets hope he's the 20 goal striker that we've been missing for a good few years.

If RK can talk Harry round in getting Gio back for the season then I think that we'll have a good chance of at least a play-off spot.

Let's get behind the boys on Sunday & make sure we pack out PR for the 1st home of the season & get the atmosphere the rocking AGAIN!!

As promised in the "medical" thread... ;^D

I spot left foot goals, right foot goals, headers, backheels and enough delicious chips to satisfy an obese Glaswegian

Well done BlueBoots with the video, he looks the part to me, really looking forward to Sunday now.

Just one word of caution, I remember seeing a video of Sam Parkin banging in all sorts of goals before he signed for us and look how that turned out, but in Roy we trust

another useful signing but were not realistic contenders for promotion! although skysports perdiction places town at 3rd and newcastle at 8th, reading 1st which just dosent add up to me!

There is no way we should be spending money on a striker such as this guy......................... it's okay splashing the cash, but has anyone within Keane's so called management team thought about the two most important aspects of signing any player, ie, a nickname and a chant? Probably not - this is a joke. Bring back Mick McGiven!
