Town’s double move for Sunderland duo Grant Leadbitter and Carlos Edwards is very close to being done. Sources in the North-East report that only the paperwork is still to be completed before the duo are confirmed as Town players.

The clubs agreed a joint fee reported to be £2.8 million rising to £4 million last week and the pair have been talking personal terms with the Blues ever since.

Not sure how accurate this site is though. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news if this is true. Also with the signing of Krancjar for tottenham, does this mean that Gio's not needed?????
