Watson Joins QPR

Reported Town target Ben Watson has joined Jim Magilton's QPR on a four-month loan from Wigan. Watson appeared less likely to join the Blues once Town had agreed a fee with Sunderland for Grant Leadbitter.

Elsewhere, Darren O'Dea's six-month loan move from Celtic to Reading has been confirmed.

well playing under Jim, he's bound to be played at left midfield even though he's a centre mid !!! just like he did with norris.

would love to see watson signed and then that paves the way for Garvan to leave. wouldn't be that disappointed if garvan was to leave if im honest. yea he's a good passer of the ball if given the time to do so, but he really is 1 of the slowest players we have in our squad and against teams such as west brom who pressed all the time gave away posession all too cheaply. I feel Garvan hasn't lived up to potential, bit like Haynes really. has potential but hasn't quite fulfilled it

Very good signing by Jim. Congrats to him. I don't know how Leadbitter compares, but two very decent midfielders return to the Championship by the looks of it,

would appear so lightningboy, but why would anyone wanna play under magilton bearing in mind his track record for falling out with players and then not playing them as a result
