Rosenior Loan Confirmed
Rosenior Loan Confirmed
Wednesday, 2nd Sep 2009 13:49

Town have confirmed the loan signing of Liam Rosenior for the remainder of the season.

The Reading right-back is out of contract in June 2010, so will be keen to make the move permanent if all goes well.

Rosenior, the son of ex-Fulham and West Ham player Leroy, started his career with Bristol City, moving on to Fulham for £55,000 in 2003. A loan spell at Torquay, where his father was manager, followed in 2004, and in 2007 he joined Reading for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old has been a regular in the Reading side this season and has made 67 starts and two sub appearances for the Royals, but is yet to score.

Am I the only person who thinks we need to consider replacing Lee Martin? He is too lightweight! New centre half (Wood), left back, left midfielder and striker required. Unsure about Rosenior, Reading clearly didnt rate him. Hope he does a job. Strikes me as a decent potential signing. Hope so!

We seem to be getting a bit greedy here, like kids in a sweetshop.

I want... I want. You lot sound like my daughter, who is aged 3. Is it that most of you are kids and it's still school holidays?

Ok, I can't help but get carried away, gonna join in with it all. GGGGIIIIIIOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! (Do you think he heard that?)
As for Rosenior, good signing, I've always thought he was a good player and it's finally good to get some decent players who are capable of pushing us on, as in the three we've just signed.
Let's hope it works out for him as he's out of contract at the end of the season so we could snap him up on a free.
I don't think Wright will be going anywhere, I think Roy has stated that he want competition for places and enough cover, if Wright goes then we wouldn't have another recognised full right back, Peters and Bruce can play there but they're not full backs.
COYB!!!
