Town 19 in Sunday's FA Cup Draw
Town 19 in Sunday's FA Cup Draw
Saturday, 28th Nov 2009 13:55

Town are number 19 in the FA Cup third round draw, which takes place this Sunday at 3.55pm after the live TV game between Kettering Town and Leeds United on ITV1.

The draw will be carried out by Olympic rower Sir Steven Redgrave and Kelly Smith of the England women’s side, who are both ambassadors for England's 2018 World Cup bid. Third round ties take place on the weekend of January 2nd.

Meanwhile, Town refused Brentford permission to play on-loan defender Pim Balkestein in their 1-0 victory over Walsall. Striker Kevin Lisbie was in the Colchester side which won 1-0 at Hereford, while Jack Ainsley's Rushden are already out. The defender is still to make an appearance for his loan club.

Elsewhere, the Town squad and manager Roy Keane were at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium to watch the rugby union international between Wales and Australia on Saturday evening ahead of Sunday's game against Cardiff City.

I just looked for Norwich under the 'N' section but forgot they have to play all those other small clubs before they can qualify.

No.9 was previously missed off due to poor cutting and pasting by the editor.
Now my earlier comment seems to indicate, I feel we could easily beat Burnley, nothing is further from the truth!

a draw with someone in the championship or the premiership please. because if we win that then that will give us a huge morale boost. also this gives us a chance to find out what is our best striking partnership...without runnjng the risk of dropping points. Whatever team we draw, i just hope that it is a home draw that we get. If we are going to draw a team in a lower league than us then a home draw against norwich would be good for the fans and the players morale because it is the only chance we have to play them this season.
