Magilton Denies Wrongdoing
Magilton Denies Wrongdoing
Wednesday, 9th Dec 2009 16:36

Former Blues boss Jim Magilton has denied any wrongdoing in the wake of his suspension by QPR. The Northern Irishman is alleged to have headbutted midfielder Akos Buzsaky during a confrontation after his side's defeat at Watford on Monday.

Magilton said in a statement: "While passions can run high in football, especially after a poor performance, I categorically deny any allegation of wrongdoing following Monday's fixture.

"I understand that the club has initiated an internal investigation, with which I will cooperate fully.

"This is an unfortunate situation and I look forward to resuming my responsibilities shortly."

Keep to your story Jim and it should die down, if not down the job centre to sign on.

Quite amusing how the anti-Keane/Pro Jims (Not that there is anything wrong with that) sometimes mention Keane's poor man management and agressiveness...

'Tragic' news!

Keano looks like a light-weight compared to Punchy Magilton.

Agree with prozach.........

Nice to see some nice impartial posters on here. What happened to innocent until proven guilty? Sadly, given that Buszaky is a valuable asset to QPR, I suspect Jim will be sacked regardless of how much truth there is in these rumours...

Incidentally, not hitting players does not necessarily make RK a great manager. Getting this team to perform consistently well, win some games and climb the table will win over the doubters and gain recognition as a good manager. Still a lot to do...

So why was this player walking around outide in his kit for 20 minutes or so? Like it or not, we all know that Jim had a temper - I suspect (sadly) there is certainly something behind this. Hopefully the Jim lovers on here will finally accept he is not a great manager and that we certainly don't need him back!

Let's get behind Roy and the boys and put this Jim thing to bed. TWTD - why do we really care about QPR anyway?!!

Super Jim claims he hasn't done anything wrong? He signed George O'Callaghan...

Comedy gold (courtesy of the BBC website):-

After the defeat at Watford, Buzsaky was seen wandering along the asphalt in front of the main stand long after the final whistle, still wearing his kit.
The Hungarian, a 76th-minute substitute, was also spotted in a public toilet close to the press room full of journalists - again in his full strip.
Gorman eventually emerged to console Buzsaky but the player still appeared to be distressed.

So many funny posts coming out of this story! Please stop with them, when I read one just now I swear a tiny bit of pee came out! Think I may need to go to the doctors!

Another headline for tomorrow could be: "Snap, crackle and Bosh in the face from a Northern Irishman!" Not as catchy but to the point.

Jim comes from West Belfast and Innocent until prove guilty sort of does not exist there, or anywhere else in NI. Now there's a little fact you didn't know!

Anyway I think this is all a case of handbags at dawn and if any player won't do what he's told he should be punished.

Take Priskin He should be made to collect all the rubbish left behind in the Lower Sir Bobby Stand so he can at least see what behind the goal if he can't seem to ever see the goal!

Let's not forget that some other managers have (allegedly) been guilty of using physical violence against their players. Not that I'm condoning it, but some of those managers are now held in high regard.

Some, of course, just act like sulking children, when things go wrong for them....

I heard that Priskin wanted to headbutt Roy Keane after tuesdays draw but couldnt be bothered to move the extra 5 yards to make contact
