George Burley has revealed that the player he is to watch this weekend is based on the continent. The Town manager has said that there is no deal currently being done and he is still at the stage of watching the player.

George Burley has commented on the injuries acquired during the pre-season tour and beforehand. John McGreal, Jim Magilton, Keith Branagan and Tommy Miller all miss out tonight at Braintree (KO 7.45pm).

Burley said: "They are not serious injuries and Tommy has a niggly groin problem. Jim Magilton has recovered well and I expect to play him on Sunday against Peterborough. Pre-season has gone well so far and this will be another good work out. It is a strong team and we will give as many players a run out, even if it is not for the full 90 minutes."

Gary Croft is a slightly more serious worry with his groin problem requiring an operation.

Town's Academy U19s won 3-0 in a friendly against Cambridge yesterday. Goals from Artun, Robinson and Connell won the game for the youngsters.
