This is where our clubs future has always been since the days of Sir Bobby Robson, not with old 'has beens' and rejects from Sunderland/Eire!!!!!

Devontractorboy...firstly these two are Irish... secondly have you heard of shane 'o'conner, brian murphy , damien delaney, gareth Mccauly owen Garvan all very good irish players at our club 3 of which Keane bought.
maybe you have also heard of Daryl murphey,Jack colback, bith sunderland and irsih one of which has been exceptional for us the other would have been if he had been here from the start.
the only time we have had more than one of our youth products in a first team at once in modern times that has been any good was Richard Wright and Kieron Dyer
and then Darren bent and Darren ambrose with bramble who no1 really knows how he has managed to stay in the premier league
i would count Wright,Naylor,Scowcroft as a 3 but lets be honest neither of the 3 were really ever that good.
Bottom line is although we have produced a few good individual players over a long period we have never had anything like the mythical teamfull of exceptional homegrown tallent people keep banging on about rite now we have Garvan, Connor wickham, and tommy smith with serious look ins. its not Keanes fault the last crop of players were a complete failure Bowditch, richards, westlake i think came through us lewis price werent bad but isnt going anywhere fast Shane supple retired partly because half the squad didnt give a kak if they were playing or not (which was under magiltons era) id go on but the old man needs a lift
