Loanee midfielder Liam Rosenior is reported to be interesting Stoke, Newcastle and West Brom. The 24-year-old’s contract with Reading is up at the end of the season.

Rosenior has made it clear that he doesn’t want to return to the Royals and is understood not to have been offered a deal by the Blues.

let him go, is in my opinion rather poor defensivley but good attackivley, so if you want another danny simpson or glen john son feel free, but we need a defender not a wing back

What about if we went back to the 5-3-2/3-5-2 system that we played so often under Burley? He'd do very well as an attacking fullback.....

would be no loss if he went, run down his contract with reading so new club would be able to pay higher wages, if we signed him he may do it to us.

Interesting the reactions to this and other transfer news... the fickle fans perhaps. He did okay for us, but like many others isn't the answer. Dave Wright getting the boot isn't the sadest news I have ever had - he was clueless going forward. Liam will do okay in the sides mentioned as a squad player - good look to him.

I laughed out loud when I read this. Very relieved to hear that we've avoided signing another Glen Johnson. That's the last thing we need, an international full back cluttering up the place.

Glen Johnson? We couldn't afford Glen Campbell....

I think we should offload that Jamie Clapham, he's had a poor season.

I hear Glenn Pennyfather may be available on a free - could be worth a punt.

Luke8644..... more importantly.... what the hell type of word is attackivley???? jeez, the mind boggles...for future reference, the red dotted line underneath your words means it is not really a word....

And while I'm here dave26itfc what do you mean by 'rediculous'? please tell me you are doing it on purpose. if not tell me where you went to school and i'll file legal action against them for you. they obviously sold you short of an education

Don't necessarily disagree with letting Rosenior go, but both Rosenior & David Wright? I assume that RK will use Jaime Peters and also bring in a right back (not a position identified as being deficient - CM, CF, CB, LM) and the cost will then inmpact on strengthening the other areas!

Offer David Wright a contract, he is the best full-back we have.

Or is RK looking to bring in Gary Neville!!!!!!

Eastlondonblue by the way you should start sentences with a capital letter. Stop being so petty and keep to the football.
Rosenior is too small for Stoke, not good enough for newcastle who have Simpson, and WBA thats a possible but I cant say he shook the World down here but certainly had a high opinion of himself , but Premier League "your having a laff " .

EastLondonBlue If we are being pedantic, you should start each sentence with a capital letter, and "i'll" should also have a capial "I". Before you send the legal action off for Luke, send it to me and I will proof read it for you.

I quite liked Rosenior, you could see him being better in the premiership than the championship, in a strange way?!?

As this appears to have now turned into an educational debate about spelling, what is a "capial I" Bergholt?

Perhaps I should proof read your proof reading of EastLondonBlue :-)

Started very well for us I thought, but seems to have lots his way as the season progressed. He has potential, so Keane must have some pretty ambitious plans in the light of the major "outplacement" we are hearing about.

He certainly is not good enough for the Premier League. Just an average Championship player that wasn't really good enough for our struggling club this season. Who can forget his performance at Watford!!!!!

MickeyMills: Do you mean '...proof read your proof reading for EastLondonBlue', not '...of EastLondonBlue'? Just checking.
