I am not a Scotland fan and I hope he proves me wrong. Anyway, who selects these teams?? Seriously, I am interested in knowing.

seemingly someone who looks on the match summary at the end, and not someone that watches the game.

I think Scotland is good. he's very good on the ball, but i don't think he can play in the formation Keane started with, where he plays up top centrally alone. We are used to being able to lump it up top to a big man, but Scotland won't win you headers. On saturday he was shwoing to feet the whole time and we just lumped it over him. That's why Keane had to change to 4-4-2 second half.

Priskin was the better of the 2 at the weekend, however considering this was his first 90 mins in probably over a year he did very well

Tell you what - that doesn't look like a great team on paper.

Schmeichel & Mills are ok and Sinclair has a lot of promise but apart from Scotland I wouldn't want to many of the others in our team

@notorious "but i don't think he can play in the formation Keane started with, where he plays up top centrally alone."

Isn't that where he played for Swansea!? Maybe wrong - that information did come from this forum!)

I too thought Priskin edged it but Scotland had a good game. Perhaps Derek Davis collates the team of the week as he had Scotland as MOM in his Telegraph report.

I am certainly not Priskins number one fan but thought he was great on Saturday and would have put him in ahead but well played Scotland, any of our players who get in is a good thing and keeps the positive momentum going .
And how do players like Naylor and McEverly get in above Mac who again was outstanding ?

I bought the News of the World to read about the cricket and Priskin was in their team of the week scoring nine out of ten . However Norris only scored six - the equal lowest of any Town player , so I think we can conclude that these teams of the week are utter botox.

thats very true big Mac should be in it week in week out he really is outstanding and i cant see a better CB in the championship. if the players are even aware that they are in team of the week then hopefully it will be another confidence boost for Scotland who must have felt as miserable as **** last year.

Thoroughly deserved to be in the team of the week in my opinion, very good with the ball at his feet, looked strong when holding players off and scored a goal we havnt seen at portman road in around 6 seasons he actually followed a shot in the area and gambled on James making a mistake, McAuley was immense and shouldve been in the team, im not sure Priskin was the better of the 2 strikers though, he was awful up until he hit the crossbar then he came to life!!

COYB we want to see players in the team of the week every week!!!

Pleased for Rocket, but as others have said, how the team of the week is put together is a complete mystery and there were several other town players who I thought had better games.
