Connor Wickham and the England U19s complete their European Championships group fixtures today when they take on hosts Belgium having already made it through to the next qualifying phase (KO 3.30pm). Academy trio Josh Carson, Caolan Lavery and Rory McKeown's Northern Ireland U19s also play the final match of their group.

Wickham looks likely to start the England game having been used as a 76th minute sub in Sunday’s 4-0 drubbing of Cyprus. The 17-year-old started and netted in the opening game 6-1 thrashing of Albania on Friday, his debut at U19 level.

Midfielder Carson and striker Lavery have started both Northern Ireland’s games so far, a 0-0 draw with Switzerland and an unlucky injury time 2-1 defeat to hosts Germany on Sunday. Defender Rory McKeown was an unused sub in both matches.

The Northern Irish youngsters can qualify for the next phase if they beat Andorra this afternoon (KO 4pm), Switzerland lose to Germany in their last game and if they have a better goal difference than the Swiss.

Am i the only one thinking this, but all we ever say is don't burn the kids out to early etc. But it's ok for them to play 3 games in 6 days for England. Where is the sense in that?
