Town-Norwich Derby on TV Around the World
Town-Norwich Derby on TV Around the World
Tuesday, 23rd Nov 2010 11:20

As well as being shown live on BBC1 (1pm) in the UK, Sunday’s derby against Norwich City at Carrow Road is being screened throughout the world.

The match is being shown live by Viasat in Norway, while US-based supporters will have a nervy wait before watching delayed coverage on the Fox Soccer Plus around a couple of hours after kick-off.

If you’re a Town fan based overseas and know the game’s being shown where you are, or if you and other exiled Blues are gathering to watch the game in a bar in some far-flung part of the world, add the details in the Comments section below.

As annoyed as I am at the poor tactics and awful football we are playing and general lack of management and passion, lets get behind them Sunday, its the derby!!! or at least get behind them until we are 2 down if my fears become reality!

I am with the posts above - It doesn't look good based on what we have seen so far. I can only hope that we have some element of luck and get the win! But all things aside that are wrong just now.. I will be there screaming on the team! COYB's! FORK!

Come on! Look at the positives. Everyone will see what a hopeless tw@t RK is and the media attention that will bring may make ME wake up to the fact!

Good point Berg'. However, RK will probably shock the world with a 0-0 draw.

I have mixed feelings too about the timing of this one but just to break with the general flow I am going for a very unlikely 1-3 win to Town with Damien Delaney opening the scoring from a corner taken by Jack Colback. Now that is positivity gone mad but who knows eh...it is derby day!

You guys are pathetic. Like Keane or not, you could at least support the team. No wonder we are doing so bad with "supporters" like you. If you're that embarrassed about supporting Ipswich then simple... don't support them. I'm not a Keane lover by any means, but i'll still be supporting the team, not sitting there whinging and moaning.
COYB! 3-0 for the cameras and the world!!

adamitfc i think many of these posts are said with tongue in cheek, at the end of the day we all support town, we would all love us to really show the world how good we can bit, but are all just a little worried it is all going to go Pete Tong! I love town, blue through and through but if i took a stranger to last few games and said this is the team i adore i think i would have felt just slightly embarrassed as the performances on the pitch. When we get the ball down and pass (and we have done it a few times this season) we can compete with the best, but trying to be an old style Burnley then getting beaten just isnt what we pay to see and what we want the world to see as our team......

I understand ITFC fans being worried; I have been dreaming about it (nightmares!) recently. I really hope we do not lose the match and a win would be great, I guess most of us just can't see that happening at the moment.

To think after the last derby (good goals from Quinn and Stead) that we were about to appoint Roy Keane, backed by Evans' millions to take us to the Premier League as part of a two year plan. Norwich were facing relegation and starting a bleak new life in League One under the management of Bryan Gunn. How quickly things change.

I just dont hold out much hope, thats all.

The situation is set up: -
We win Keane stays.
We get defeated it will be all over for Keane, as he will have no support as you have to get a team to play in a derby.
A draw - going by our last few performances a good result..

Plus all on TV..... no pressure boys...

Great - just as I thought it couldnt get any worse potential International humiliation beckons!

Let's hope we can come up with some sort of result Sunday. All true fans want to win this one and if it keeps Keane in the job a bit longer so be it. I'd rather that than lose to the scum!!!
