Dutch midfielder Martijn Reuser has signed a new deal which will keep him at Portman Road until 2005. Reuser has been the subject of speculation about his future with Spurs linked over the weekend.

The player said he was flattered by the interest, but clearly feels his future lies at Portman Road.

George Burley said of the deal: "We're very pleased Martijn has committed himself to the club until 2005. Martijn had an excellent season last year scoring six goals in the last 11 League matches. He has worked very hard since joining the club to make himself a regular in the first team and I am sure over the next few seasons Martijn will show his undoubted quality in the Premiership."
