Magilton v Hreidarsson

Jim Magilton's Northern Ireland take on Hermann Hreidarsson's Iceland tomorrow with 'Magic' hoping for a little revenge.

October last year saw Iceland came out on top in a 1-0 win on their home soil, after Jim branded the Icelanders a "pub team".

Jim explains: "There was a bit of stick flying about the last time. Big Hermann was delighted and as soon as the final whistle went he came up to me and threw his jersey in my face."

Hermann describes it slightly differently in his interview in the latest edition of the TWTD fanzine: "If we had lost the game he would have been a nightmare throughout the season. It was a really important one to win! We shook hands and we swapped shirts, it was just like any other game. He tried to say that it was too cold for him. It was really cold on the day, but not too cold!"
