With great respect to Connor, although he did some amazing things earlier in the month, his misses against Portsmouth should rule him out of the running for this one!

Ofcourse he deserves it !!!!

His nomination is not just for scoring goals, it is also for his work rate for the team and his workrate has been unquestionable!!! How many times have you seen Connor clearing the ball from inside the box ! Too many times !

Connor Wickham ought win it after that hat trick v Doncaster and the great goal when he ran 3 quarters of the pitch and beat 4 players and scored. He is a great young player andhe is better off with us fora while cos he will be playing football for us and nearly week not like if he went to a top team like the time richard Wright left

I think connors done very well, considering his age and where he is playing.I think the missed chances at pompey will mean he won't win it, although saying that from what ive seen of the other nominees this month, none have done that much better. As a whole i hope he stays here until the end of next season, see where ipswich are then, and then he'll have enough experience to fight for a place in a premiership team. Saying that, i can see him going this summer which would be a massive mistake all round.

Does this put him closer to the centre of the shop window ?
All the same, well done Connor. He also appears to have calmed down a little in challenges in the last few games. Work in progress. I was begining to think he was a red card waiting to happen. Please god don't let him get sent off tomorrow now that I've said this !

Well done Conor.
Dont forget he is playing on the wing.
His goals, work ethic, commitment & team play are outstanding. He has improved his positioning too. Plus his goals are from both left and right feet.
He gives real energy & enthuesiam to the team and helps drive them on.
Well deserved!
