Three-Match Ban for Martin
Three-Match Ban for Martin
Sunday, 17th Apr 2011 09:27

Lee Martin will face a three-match ban for Saturday's red card at Bristol City. The Blues appear unlikely to appeal against the decision.

Midfielder Grant Leadbitter picked up his 10th booking of the season but won't face a ban as the deadline passed last weekend.

Great talk about making it easier for Nobwich, however there the ones under pressure so still feel confident that were going to mess up their auto promo push. COYB

Lee you have progressed fantastically well since your return and looking forward to seeing terrorise many deffences next season, you do need to learn from yesterday's mistake though. Good luck fella, happy your here!

We want passion and the guy is still learning his trade! We can beat the scum without him and next season he will be even better! Coyb's! Only 4 sleeps!!!! Ha ha!

Yep, no complaints over the red card - looked like a very poor challenge. Hopefully Martin will learn from this. Could have proved costly for his team and basically rules him out for the rest of the season.

Suspect we will revert back to Wickham wide left with Scotland a loan striker.

Lee was being a bit passionate and got punished! Unlucky but overall he's done well since his return!

Peters tore the scum apart in the last home derby, stick him on a wing and Carson on the other with Wickham up top - Scotland CANNOT play on Thursday!

Garv, totally agree with you If we want a result on Thursday against Norwich Scotland MUST not be on the pitch or even in the squad. Keep Wickham up front and play either Civelli or Peters wide. Also keep Healy in for Leadbitterif he's had a nasty bang on the head.

Civelli offers nothing. Hoping Peters will be given a start but I cant look past PJ reverting back to Wickham on the left and Scotland down the middle.

He has only just come back from suspension. Stupid challenge and he can have no complaints!

As my mother said, if you can't say anything good, say nothing. Nuff said.

We are in form and Healey will give us a holding option,

I wouldn't call that tackle passionate at all... It was reckless, stupid and could have really hurt the City player, deserves the 3 match ban...

He's not going to advance his career much by getting suspended, coming back, then getting suspended alomst immediately again. Needs to think a bit more.

There's a fine line between recklessness and passion, which I think he will learn, let's hope for the team's sake it doesn't take too long.
Along with others, I'd like to see Jamie Peters start on Thursday but with Connor up front.
