Murphy, Peters and O'Connor in Reserves at Luton
Tuesday, 26th Apr 2011 13:39

Brian Murphy, Jaime Peters and Shane O’Connor are amongst the more experienced players in the reserves side taking on Luton at Kenilworth Road this afternoon (KO 2pm). Young left-back Joe Whight, who has been offered a two-year professional contract, is also in Chris Kiwomya’s team.

The match is the second string’s last league fixture of the season with the Blues having a chance of winning the Totesport.com Football Combination East Division if they beat Luton to overtake Oxford, who have already completed their fixtures, on goal difference and if Watford fail to win their final game at Southend, also this afternoon.

Shame, we should give Jamie a run out in the firsts. I fear this might be the end for him.

This might be one ofthe last time Peters plays in a Town shirt. He hasn't played under PJ and so I fully expect him to be on his way next season.

Shane O'Connor should be at left back, whats the point playing O'Dea, when his going back to Celtic, Give some of these players a chance in the remaining games, we have nothing to play for. Put Luke Hyam in for Norris.

All three should be in the first team. Play Jamie as another striker - or just behind a loan striker.

I think all should be in first team unless they've gone of the boil but i'm pretty sure O'conner hasn't

Must say that I am surprised that O'Connor and Peters haven't been played in the first team lately. Also, I haven't heard Hourihane's name mentioned for a long while. I would appreciate it if anyone knows how he is progressing orhave an opnion on him
