New Role for Milts
New Role for Milts
Wednesday, 27th Jul 2011 23:02

TWTD understands that former Blues midfielder Simon Milton has taken on the role of player liaison manager at Portman Road.

Milton, 47, will help the new players settle in, assist them in finding accommodation and will also organise player appearances and media contact.

The long-serving ex-Bury Town man will continue in his current positions as academy sponsorship manager and in the club’s commercial department.

Milts is quite clearly good at the jobs he does for Town.

He has survived changes of management and a change of ownership.

Remember a freezing cold Fri night at Tranmere when Milts scored the only goal to warm the cockles. Good luck mate.
