Life's a Pitch on Non-League Day Friday, 2nd Sep 2011 15:13 BBC Radio Suffolk’s Life’s a Pitch is live on Saturday lunchtime despite the lack of a Town home game (midday to 2pm). Presenter Mark Murphy is joined by the show’s regular guests, Town legend Kevin Beattie, football’s youngest pundit Tractorboy and TWTD’s Phil Ham, while ex-Blue Jason De Vos will be on the phone. Saturday is Non-League Day, when fans of clubs from higher up the leagues are encouraged to watch football at a lower level, and Mark and guests want to hear where Portman Road regulars are off to for their weekend football fix. Clubs such as Needham Market are offering half-price entry on the presentation of Town season tickets, while Histon and Cambridge City are giving free entry to anyone with a Premier League or Championship season ticket, a Cambridge United season ticket holder and anyone working for Cambridge University or Cambridgeshire NHS. Your opinion on anything Ipswich Town (or Non-League Day related) is welcome (as is cake), via email, the programme’s Facebook page or during the show by phone on 01473 212121 or text to 81333 starting your message with SFK.
