Lincoln City chairman Rob Bradley has denied that his club and Town are about to announce a link-up. A rumour has been doing the rounds suggesting that this might be the case with Town having first refusal on promising Lincoln players and young Blues spending loan spells at Sincil Bank.

The Imps recently revealed that they were looking to get involved in a club in this way but Bradley told TWTD that no deal with Town is imminent: "I don't know where that has come from. We're looking into an arrangement of that type, but it is still early days and we have had no talks with Ipswich."

Town were linked with Lincoln defender Paul Mayo last season, but it seems watching him was the full extent of their interest.

The Blues have already set-up links with a couple of clubs on the continent with the Academy having exchanges with Swedes Giffarna Sundsvall and Dutch side Heerenveen last season.

Released central defender Stephen Moffat is on trial at Bournemouth. The Scot had spent time with Motherwell in July but is now at Dean Court.

He was originally meant to spend time at Bournemouth at the end of last season but an injury prevented him.
