Barnsley Game Live on Sky

Town’s match against Barnsley at Oakwell on Saturday 10th December has switched to a 5.20pm kick-off and will be shown live on Sky.

Monday’s 3-0 victory over Coventry was also shown live by the satellite channel, as was the defeat at Peterborough.

I was told years ago by a pro-Sky TV person that Sky would want the grounds full, so they would subsidise ticket prices to make sure their viewers could watch matches in packed stadia. Instead we are seeing the opposite, certainly at Championship level. Well under 16,000 at Portman Road for Monday's Sky game, and fans messed about no end. I won't be subscribing to Mr Murdoch's TV channels thank you very much.
