Blues legend Kevin Beattie has donated a signed copy of his autobiography, The Greatest Footballer England Never Had to raise funds for Plymouth Argyle’s Green Taverners, who are collecting for the Pilgrims’ off-field staff, who weren't paid in full for some months during the League Two club’s recent financial problems.

In some cases the staff incurred debts and fell behind on bill payments during Argyle's woes.
