Dutch Keeper Not Ruling Out English Move

Heracles Almelo keeper Remko Pasveer says he knows nothing of Town boss Paul Jewell’s recent trip to Holland to watch him in action but admits that a move to England could interest him. Jewell watched 28-year-old Pasveer during his side’s 2-0 defeat away against ADO Den Haag earlier in the month.

Pasveer said: “I myself know nothing about it. I can say that it is nice when someone says something about clubs wanting you, because it means that you’re doing a good job.

“England is a terrific football country, the most wonderful in Europe. But there is more than that to consider - the way in which the team plays and what my family think of it.

"But up to now I know nothing about it, so it doesn't keep me occupied.”

Dont know how ME got on talking to Andrews agent on Monday;but its good that he is now getting more involved,which shows that Clegg not up to it in this department.I am concerned though that since Jewell took over Evans seems to be cutting down on transfer fees but probably paying higher wages as he is still putting in considerable money.
After another poor season he must realise that he will never get his investment back whilst the club bumps along near the bottom of Championship unless he buys good players;and much will there for depend on Jewell whos only successful purchase so far being Aaron Cresswell not his big name buys yet.
Am pleased is now looking across the North Sea where my ancesters came from,and seems to have decided that younger blood is needed but has lost another season(probably)by doing what he did at Bradford City and getting established players.
