Marcus Stewart says he's much more cheery after scoring two goals in last night's 3-3 draw at Southampton. The striker has been frustrated lately and made at least one unhappy statement to the press.

Stewart said: "I am a lot happier now that I have got those two goals. We were looking good for the the first 15 minutes and it all went to pot. But we worked hard to get back into the game and I am very happy to have helped by scoring twice."

George Burley was pleased with his players and their grit to come back to draw from two goals down: "We had to show a lot of spirit and determination and I was really pleased with what the lads did. We showed plenty of commitment, played lots of passes and created chances."

Like many the Town manager felt that Southampton's first goal shouldn't have been allowed: "For me the first goal was a blatant foul, but we have to blame ourselves for the second and we were caught a little for the third.

Burley flies abroad today on another scouting mission. He said earlier this week hew has a couple of players he is targeting.
