Town's U18s fell to a 1-0 defeat against Fulham at Playford Road on Saturday morning.

U18s: O'Donnell, Jones, Acott, Thorsteinsson, October, Bennett, Winter, Leddy, Tiofack, Marriott, Simmons. Subs: Meikle, Maduako, Lawrence, Timlin, Schrøder.

Good. This is REAL football. The defence is giving the forwards an opportunity to tie it up.

It's not ALWAYS going to happen of course.

But this is a REAL football team.

It's wide open at Portman Road and I sincerely hope we shall be seeing the club making sure they hold on to their talent.

Russell Osman? Clearly too civilised to be a Premiership Manager, but perhaps he should consider it for a couple of catalyctic years?

A game ruined by the wind and no midfield whatsoever and what hope do they have for the future NONE at this club with a useless manager who prefers OAP's

I watched the match on Saturday and often go along . Apart from Jones and Bennett (both defenders) not much else happening. Bennett at centre back (thought he was good right back)and often recently in midfield strange! Cant see many of these given chance to progress....but they worked hard.
