Full-back Aaron Jones missed a 19th minute penalty as Town's U18s drew 0-0 at Charlton this morning.

The spotkick had been awarded after schoolboy Byron Lawrence was upended inside the box.

In a close game, Icelandic midfielder Gunnar Thorsteinsson came closest to scoring for the Blues in the second half, Charlton having hit the post in the first, while Blues keeper Conor O'Donnell made a good save in the second period.

U18s: O'Donnell, Bennett, Jones, Acott (Maduako 60), October, Thorsteinsson, Meikle (Timlin 85), Leddy, Winter (Marriott 80), Lawrence, Crisp.
