Callum Bennett scored a second half equaliser but Town’s U18s lost 3-1 at Arsenal this afternoon. Kristoffer Olsson, Philip Roberts and Josh Rees netted for the Gunners.
It might have been worse for Russell Osman’s men with Nigel Neita missing a late penalty for the home side.
Meanwhile, the Blues and Colchester are reported to be keeping an eye on 22-year-old Brantham Athletic keeper Ryan Bedingfield.
