Murray Promoted to U21 Squad

Blues striker Ronan Murray has been added to the Republic of Ireland U21 squad for their matches against Denmark and Italy. The Mayo-born frontman, who spent much of 2011/12 on loan at Swindon, was initially named on standby.

The Irish youngsters play a friendly with Denmark in Dublin on Monday 28th May and a Euro 2013 qualifier against Italy in Sligo on Monday 4th June.

Murray, 20, has previously been capped once at U21 level.

BlueBailey, he looks a threat in my opinion. A pacy little livewire in Michael Owens mould (Not as good though at same age) DiCanio doesnt appear to be an idiot and appears to rate him too. His goal ratio isnt prolific but Against West Spam 2 years ago, pre season, looked good
