Robertson Still Unsure on Future
Robertson Still Unsure on Future

Dundee United midfielder Scott Robertson says he still doesn’t know where he’ll be playing his football next season despite being strongly linked with a move to the Blues. The one-time Dundee man does, however, hint that there is something in reports of his free Bosman switch to Portman Road.

The 27-year-old, who is out of contract this summer, tweeted: “I still don't know where I'll be next season yet, I'm hoping to be sorted in the next few weeks though.”

After a Town fan asked if he could be the first to welcome him to Portman Road, Robertson added: "I'd like to be able to say yes, but it's not at that stage."

Sources in Scotland have reported that Town are the frontrunners for the Scotland international’s signature on a number of occasions over the last few weeks.

Several of this morning's newspapers north of the border claim he'll sign for the Blues when he returns from holiday.

Robertson is similar to Paul Greene, both available on free contracts.
Paul Greene is an estabilished championship midfielder but would expect a bigger wage. There would also be less competition for Robertsons signature.

Not sure about him tbh, could be another Colin Healy i.e a squad filler that wont get much game time.

Bullard Stevenson Carson Martin Hyam Jet Drury Poosible Edwards if Hewitt plays Trying to sign Murphy, Do we really need another midfielder that seems to be of the same standard that we have at the minute.

We need a box to box midfielder with a bit of bite ,this player fits the bill completely ,he breaks up opposition play well and defends the back four ,apart from Hyam no one else does that in our squad and you need more than one due to cards and suspension as nature of the beast for that role .
John Wark was signed as a defender /holding midfielder and look what he went onto !!

Not got a better one, Scottish football isn't particularly well covered by our photo supplier.
