Town are amongst the clubs to have sent a scout to London Road to watch Peterborough United’s friendly with Norwich City this afternoon. Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony circulated the list on Twitter.

Also sending representatives are Charlton, Colchester, Crystal Palace, Everton, Fulham, Leeds, Liverpool, Nottingham Forest, Reading, Southampton and Stoke City.

Meanwhile, former Blue Dan Harding has joined Nottingham Forest from Southampton, signing a three-year contract.

George Boyd maybe? Ok, possibly a bit expensive for us, but would be a good signing! Didn't Jewell say something about Hutchings talking to Lambert about a player he used to manage? Maybe we are scouting a scummer!

Please god not Boyd, the Posh fans at work keep laughing and saying Donkey Boyd to Ipswich, Walked in to the office the other day and the lads were having a whip round for petrol so I could drive him down to sign.

Does not sound good

Rather have Taylor than Boyd who could not cut it at all at Forest. Can't see us getting either as they will be overpriced by Fry and co.
