N'Daw Joins Up With New Team-Mates

Last week’s loan signing Guirane N’Daw is set to join up with his new team-mates at training for the first time today. The St Etienne midfielder returned to France after completing his season-long switch on Friday.

Speaking after Tuesday’s defeat at Carlisle, manager Paul Jewell said the paperwork relating to N’Daw’s international clearance had come through earlier in the day: “Clearance came through today, so he’ll be back with us training on Thursday.”

N’Daw, 28, could make his Blues debut in Saturday’s game against Huddersfield at Portman Road.

What a difference a week makes! Last week i was (I think most of you were too) very hopeful for the future and things were going in the right direction. Now a week later, 2 defeats and more failed signings and suddenly it's all doom and gloom!!!

Think N'Daw is a good signing on loan and will help protect our back 4, and who knows, maybe this time next week we'll all be a lot happier........'It's a funny old game Saint' (for those of you old enough to remember Saint and Greavsie on ITV!!!)

mickeyjb added 11:02 - Aug 30 I'm guessing we have gone for the safe option that if he's cr@p then we don't have to rip up his contract at the end of the season, however if he is good how do we know he will sign for us at the end of it? Yes I'm sceptical, but can I not be at the moment
