Fry and Johnson on Life's a Pitch
Fry and Johnson on Life's a Pitch
Saturday, 1st Sep 2012 10:37

BBC Radio Suffolk’s Life’s a Pitch is live on Saturday with presenter Mark Murphy joined by the show’s regulars, Blues legend Kevin Beattie, football’s youngest pundit Tractorboy and TWTD’s Phil Ham (midday to 2pm). Amongst the guests will be Peterborough United’s director of football Barry Fry and Blues legend David Johnson (1970s one).

Fry will give us an idea of what to expect from new signing Paul Taylor and perhaps an insight into why George Boyd hasn’t joined him at Portman Road, while Johnson will recall his days with the Blues ahead of his sporting dinner back in town in a fortnight’s time.

What have you made of Town’s transfer window business? How many more players does Paul Jewell need to add on loan?

Add your thoughts on either of those or anything else via email, the programme’s Facebook page, Mark’s Twitter or during the show by phone on 01473 212121 or text to 81333 starting your message with SFK.

The show can be heard on 95.5FM, 95.9FM, 103.9FM and 104.6FM or online here. Last week's programme can be heard here.

Well, a big congratulations must be handed out to PJ and the management for taking a leaf out of Roy Keane's book and yet again, letting players go without having cover in place.

Keane not only killed off the belief within the squad and bought also-rans, he sold our most promising homegrown assets.

ME, SC & PJ couldn't organise a small piss-up in a large brewery!

Defence, defence, defence... ship 6 goals aginst Blackpool and then lose to lowly Carlisle in the CO Cup, let the only defensive cover we had (albeit Delaney) sign for Palace and then not do any business for two, much-needed CBs.

A tragic, transfer window fiasco.

ME, the time has come and gone to splash the cash. Sell the club NOW to someone who cares.

SC out, PJ out!

Makes me wonder, is ITFC just a tax loss scenario for M.E.?

Seems like we're cutting our cloth a little short here!!!
